Ruling party faces problem on appointing Chief Minister Candidates. At present government face problems on appointing former CM Berty Preamlal or the S.M.Ranjith received highest number of preferential votes as the next chief minister for the north central province.
Final decision this regard would be taken on Sunday. Diplomats urge to appoint a CM who could not create problems towards the political journey of United People Freedom Alliance government.
However it was announced they did not face any problems on appointing CM in the Sabragamuwa province. Government decided to appoint Mahipala Herath received highest number of preferential votes and in the province.
