Sambanthan warns on land and police powers

TNA leader R.Sambanthan announced according to the government high ranking officials by achieving victory in the eastern provincial council Lankan government hopes to with draw land and police powers from the provincial councils.

By hand hovering power towards central government they hope to hold election for northern provincial council.

Sambanthan made this statement while addressing an election meeting at Trincomalee yesterday.

Addressing the gathering Sambanthan went on to say,

Government works according to their own planning. Government owns a plan behind the northern provincial council.

SriLanka Muslim Congress announced they would revise on power sharing towards provincial councils.

Most of the racists were not interested on power sharing, land and police powers.

If the government achieves victory in the eastern provincial council they would with draw the land and police powers owned by the provincial councils. In such situation we are hoping for eastern provincial council election said Sambanthan.
