Speaking at a press conference Wickremasinghe added that if not the UNP will take to the streets in November alongside the masses in protest.
Despite the war during the UNP regime we made sure the public had unhindered benefits, Wichermasinghe claimed. He however said that though the war is over the government is not granting any relief to the public.
Even the hard earned EPF of the people are being pilfered by the government and already the monies have been invested in the stock market, Wickremasinghe added.
Hence the benefits of this investment are not going to be transferred to the public, rather the henchmen of the politicians will reap the benefits, he claimed.
