Protest stage against the Trincomalee Rector of the Vantharumullai campus of Eastern University today.
This protest was organized by the Inter University staffs of Eastern University.
During the time of protest protesters stated Army and police personals cause disturbances for their protest conduct by the none academic staffs in front of the Trincomalee university compound on urging salary hike.
Protesters also burned the effigy of university rector.
Secretary of the Eastern University None Academic staffs Sridharan stated this was the protest against rector of the Trincomalee University.
