It is learnt that the victim is a woman who left to Saudi Arabia from Anamaduwa as a house maid.
An officer in the Sri Lankan Embassy in Saudi said the woman was abused when she has arrived at the embassy on June 7 of this month seeking assistance due to difficulties experienced at her work place.
