Last week presidential secretary Lalith Weerathunga stated Britain Prime Minister David Cameroon apologized from president Rajapaksa for cancelling his speech at the Commonwealth Economic Forum.
Commenting on this issue female spokesperson of the British Embassy stated, “Prime Minister David Cameroon did not apologized from President Rajapaksa” She also concern over cancelling the speech with in the short term period.
This was not a decision of Britain Government. Commonwealth Economic Forum has taken such decision. It was a n independent organization.
