Kradiyanaru police stated these suspects engaged in the treasure hunting at a forest in evening hours and military personals were aware on this illegal activity.
Suspects identified has Tissanayake Mudiyansalage Gunathilaka(27), Yogarasa Paramalingam(38), Marimuttu Jeyanathan(36) and Ansar Mohamad Labai(27) currently detained at Karadiyanaru police.
Army stated iyar and four other engaged in the treasure hunting escaped from sight. Army also recovered gee, coconut, oil, fruits, lamp and a book from this area.
