Government to shut down Kundasale Agriculture College and hopes to construct airport

Students union blamed at present government preparing to shut down Kandy – Kundasale Agriculture College and hopes to construct International Airport in this land.
Socialist students union stated officials have carried out preparation work this regard at the college compound on 8th of May and also schedule to laid stone this month.
Organizer of the Student Union Nalitha Jayatissa stated there are 12 agriculture colleges in SriLanka among them this was the best college in the country. Among the 12 only 5 colleges operates in the country.
Students union also noted such activities would affect the agriculture stream of this country.
