Courts have remanded IUSF convener Sanjeewa Bandara until September 25.
Police arrested the student activist yesterday (Sept. 20) and produced him before Colombo Fort magistrate Kanishka Wijeratne this morning on a charge of having damaged a police water bowzer.
The CCD arrested him while travelling in a passenger bus in Colombo.
To protest his arrest, the IUSF was to hold protests at five different locations in the country today, according to its acting convener Chinthaka Rajapakse.
