I won't implement act of right to receive informatio​n’s in this country: President to Indian Minister

President Mahinda Rajapaksa met Indian Minister Jairam Ramesh at Colombo yesterday and stated during my ruling period I would not amend act of right to receive information.

President also stated Smaboor 500 mw electricity supply project donated by the Indian government would declare open on month of August.

Indian rural development minister Jairam Ramesh arrive SriLanka to deliver lecture at the Bandaranaike International educational center and met president Rajapaksa on Thursday.

Speaking to Jairam president Rajapaksa went on to say, Samboor power generation would commence it works on moth of August. Office for this project would be declared open at Trincomalee. Indian organizations schedule to make investments in the technical garden schedule to construct at the Ambanathottam area.

I would like to introduce project like Mahathmagandhi rural development programme in SriLanka.

On this time Indian Minister stated due to the implementation of right to receive information made SriLanka to carry out successful job opportunities projects in the country.

Replying to this president Mahinda Rajapaksa stated” during my ruling period I won't implement act of right to receive information’s in this country”.
