Norway denies trying to form TNA-SLMC alliance foe Eastern provincial council election

Apropos our front-page story, Norwegian attempt to forge TNA-SLMC alliance fails, on July 16, the Norwegian embassy has sent us the following statement:
"The Norwegian Embassy would like to point out that Norway has not been involved in forging any alliance between TNA and SLMC. Norway does not interfere with other countries’ elections or internal party politics."

Political sources have reconfirmed that the Norwegian effort was made in the absence of Norwegian ambassador, Hilde Haraldstad and the GoSL was aware of the initiative.
