Speaking to journalists at Meenapakam airport minister went on to say,
Police have stopped the TESO conference organised by the DMK in Chennai. This was an issue to state government. Central government would not intervene in to this issue.
However Indian central government would not allow establishing separate Tamil Eelam in SriLanka.
SriLanka and India are two separate states. In such situation how can they urge two other separate states inside these countries? This activity would violate the sovereignty of two nations. Indian central government has taken steps to protect Tamil people in SriLanka.
Indian central government interested to provide equal rights for Tamil people as Sinhala community people enjoy their rights in the country. |
