According to the sources later on Governor was rushed to the Army hospital at Palali.
Speaking to media director of the Jaffna hospital doctor Bawani Pasubathiraja stated firstaid was granted to the governor and preparation made to transfer him towards Army hospital in Palali.
Governor faced breathing problem while returning from a school opening ceremony at Kandarottai area in Chunnagam and rushed to the hospital.
Later on governor sent towards Colombo by helicopter for further medical treatment.
Tight security has been deployed in the surrounding of Jaffna hospital.
